Electrical Inspection Process
Conduct a detailed assessment of the existing electrical installation.
Engineer detailed and compliant electrical plans tailored to the installation.
Submit the electrical plans and required documentation on the ELMAR portal, generating a Service Request (SR) number.
After approval of the Service Request, ELMAR generates a KN number.
Submit the service request to DTI for document validation. Upon approval, DTI generates a work order number.
Schedule the inspection date on the ELMAR portal.
Conduct the electrical inspection in collaboration with DTI and ELMAR to ensure compliance with all safety standards.

ELMAR Requirements and Compliance
ELMAR works exclusively with certified electricians, and their requirements for meter connections vary based on capacity:
- Up to 47.5kVA (125A): Requires a concrete structure known as a NIS for meter connection.
- Exceeding 47.5kVA: Requires a Laag Spanning Kast (LSK) for higher-capacity connections.
- Above 100kVA: Typically necessitates the construction of a new Transformer Station and LSK for the step-down transformer installation.
